“… Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Mt.25: 40) The Congregation gives special attention to the most vulnerable of the society. It was in the year 2005, Ferrando Integrated Women Development Centre, Peace Home, was started to help women and young girls live a dignified and purposeful life. It focuses on providing service to recovering drug users, alcoholics, sex workers and HIV/AIDS victims and renders assistance to the most vulnerable young girls of the society. Presently it has got four sub-centres in Saiha, Champhai, Lawngtlai and Bawngkawn. Six of our sisters collaborate and commit themselves totally to the cause of the depressed and rejected ones of the society. They empower and uplift people through counselling, psycho therapeutic treatment, spiritual exercises and provide vocational training.
